If you are interested in becoming a member of our church, you have the opportunity to participate in a three part teaching series (below) that we have available several times during the year. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions about the classes or becoming a member! Email info@gctempe.org for information on the next class.
GETHSEMANE BASICS
Gethsemane Basics is the first step in becoming a member. Along with introductions to the staff and a tour of our campus, we will work through and share some of what makes Gethsemane unique. This is a great first step in finding out more about our church, how to get involved and what it means to be a member.
CHRISTIAN BASICS
Christian Basics is a 2 hour class that goes through the basic teachings of the Christian faith. Along with an opportunity to ask questions, we will go through God’s plan of salvation for all people and how we receive and experience it in our own lives.
LUTHERAN BASICS
Lutheran Basics is a 2 hour class that goes through the basic teachings of the Lutheran Church. Along with time to ask questions, topics covered in this class include teaching on the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion along with a Lutheran approach to understanding the Law and Gospel.
