Children's Hope Chest
Gethsemane is excited about a new partnership and opportunity with Children’s Hopechest and 3 other Phoenix area churches. Together we will be working to positively impact the community of La Cuchilla, Guatemala. This is done by supporting the basic needs of nutrition, medical and educational support for children of this community. You can support this work by becoming a friendship partner to a child in La Cuchilla (launching in early 2020), making a financial gift to support community development projects, and/or by participating in an upcoming mission trip to support the work of HopeChest in La Cuchilla.

LA CUCHILLA MISSION TRIP
In March 4-10, 2024, we took a team to visit the Carepoint in La Cuchilla, Guatemala.
Our next trip is slated for October 2024. If you are interested in learning more about what we will be doing there and joining us on the trip, please email our Missions Director at dfrance@gctempe.org for more information and an application for the trip.

If you are already a Friendship Partner? If you are, we encourage you to write to your child frequently. Writing to your sponsored child is a great way to lay the groundwork for a strong and fruitful relationship that provides both of you with strength and encouragement.
