Have you ever had someone make a promise to you that they didn’t keep? This happens more often than it should, and it hurts us and makes it harder to trust others. Jesus made some insane claims and promises, like when he promised to raise himself from the dead. And then, he did! It’s sometimes hard to trust God’s promises. It just is. We’re invited to see how He always carries through on them, though, including how He will never leave us and will always love us!
Challenge: read and write the promises of God. Search Google for “Bible promises from God” and find a list of Bible verses where God has made promises to you. Write your favorite promises on notecards or on sticky notes and put them somewhere you’ll see them every day. It’s so important, encouraging, and helpful to always be reminded of God’s love and promises to you.
