Right now, a lot of schools are doing online learning over video chats. And that can be really tough, not having the physical interaction and the motivation that comes with actually being at school. In Matt 7, Jesus calls us to pray to God and actually ask for what we need and want, which can be difficult because God is not physically in front of us. We crave the relationship, but the great news is that God is a relational God and wants us SO badly to pray to Him with all our requests and frustrations and anger.
Challenge: Vent to God. The next time you are frustrated, angry, or sad, vent to God in prayer. Take that time, say, “Dear God,…” and tell Him exactly how you feel. Don’t pull any punches. You can be upset with Him or someone else—He can take it. Know that He loves you and listens to you no matter what you say.
