Time and money: we can choose how to use these, but what are the right choices? Where can we invest our time and money? I had someone who invest his time in me who made an eternal difference. Jesus calls us to do the same with our lives in Matt 6:19-21. It’s so easy and feels natural to invest and store up money and stuff, but it never actually fills us up. God pours out His affection and attention on us and gives our lives eternal meaning. As a response, we’re invited to invest our time and money to make an eternal difference in the lives of others.
Challenge: keep track of your time for a week. You can break it into hourly chunks, but track when you’re sleeping, eating, working, learning, and playing. Take an honest look at where you can carve out time for investing in God and making an eternal difference for others.
