Forgiveness is hard, especially when your offender either doesn’t apologize or offers an insincere apology. Either way, in Matthew 6:14-15, Jesus commands us to forgive others. The good news is that we can forgive others, even when they’re not sorry! Forgiveness allows us to let go of unhealthy control and invite God to start healing that part of us.
Challenge: Forgive someone who hasn’t apologized. Pray about this. Ask God to bring someone to mind who hasn’t apologized for how they wronged you, and then pray that you forgive them, that you release control of the situation to God and ask Him to start healing you from that.
