Do you ever just need to hear the right words? In Matthew 6:9, Jesus tells us that we should start prayer by saying the words, “Our Father in heaven.” These words are there to remind us that God is in heaven, so He’s above the universe and super powerful, and He’s also our father, so he loves us, fights for us, and knows everything about us.
Today’s challenge: look up these verses: Psalm 139:13, Ephesians 2:10, and Matthew 10:30. Read them a few times and read the verses around them. Say them out loud, even. Let your value come directly from the words of your father who is in heaven.
