Mirrors only work if they reflect well–scratches and fog sometimes cloud them up and hide the reflection. Jesus tells his followers that they are the light of the world, lit and lifted up by God. We reflect God through actions like hungering for right relationships, sitting in the pit with others, and being bold for the Gospel message. Sometimes our reflecting gets blurred, however, by things like selfishness, laziness, etc.
Today’s challenge: How well are you reflecting God? Ask God to help you reflect Him more and more each day.
