Here we talk about the difference between using Jesus and committing to Jesus. Have you ever felt used by someone? It’s definitely not fun. People in Jesus’ time struggled with this, too–they sometimes used Jesus for what they wanted (healing, food, etc.) and then left him high and dry. Jesus calls us to commit to him like he’s already committed to us with his life.
The challenge today is to spend 5 undistracted minutes with Jesus in prayer or in the Bible.
